Catalog
Catalog is the product library every other selling surface reads from. It has no dependency on any other domain — run it alone for a browse-and-inquire site, or with Commerce for a full cart and checkout.
What it owns
Section titled “What it owns”- Products with a true variant matrix — colour × size, brands, categories, tags/occasions, size-scale templates (alpha, waist×length, boys year-based), and responsive image sets.
- Categories as a tree, not a flat list, with a category tree editor.
- Inquiries — when a store has no cart, a shopper submits name, contact and an optional message against a product instead. Staff work the inbox like a lightweight lead queue.
- Import/export — CSV import with column mapping, a dry-run preview, per-row error reporting, and history; CSV export for backup or bulk edits.
Stock → Catalog (admin.your-domain.com/dashboard/catalog): products,
categories, product types, size scales, and import/export. See
Catalog & variants for the day-to-day guide.
Storefront
Section titled “Storefront”With Catalog alone (no Commerce), product and category pages render with a “Request a quote” action in place of add-to-cart. With Commerce installed, the same catalog backs the full product listing, filtering and PDP behaviour described under Commerce.
