Discounts & merchandising
Promotions and storefront curation are two neighbouring screens under Commerce: Discounts for codes, Merchandising for what shoppers see beside the product grid.
Discounts
Section titled “Discounts”Open Commerce → Discounts.
Add a code with:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Code | What the shopper (or your phone desk) types. |
| Type | Percent or fixed amount. |
| Value | The % or money off. |
| Min order | Cart must clear this before the code applies. |
| Max discount | Ceiling on a percent code (e.g. −40%, at most ৳3,000). |
| Usage limit | Cap how many times the code can be redeemed; blank = unlimited. |
| Starts / ends | Schedule the window. No end date = evergreen. |
Status is derived for you: active, scheduled, expired, or disabled. Disable a live code without deleting it when you need to pause.
The page also surfaces a campaign view (festival calendar) built from merchandising collections that have date windows — plan the code and the collection together when you’re running a seasonal push.
Merchandising
Section titled “Merchandising”Open Commerce → Merchandising. Three tabs:
Complete the look
Section titled “Complete the look”Build a set around an anchor product and up to four linked pieces. Shoppers see the set on the product page — real products from your catalog, not filler.
One-time offers
Section titled “One-time offers”Rules that fire a checkout upsell (“add X for Y — this offer won’t return”). Toggle a rule off when the offer is done; delete it when you won’t reuse it.
Collections
Section titled “Collections”Named, slugged product groups (and dated campaign collections) you feature on the storefront. Create a collection, add products, set visibility / schedule, and keep the drag order honest.
A live preview panel on the page shows how the curation reads on the storefront before you walk away.
