First-run setup wizard
The first time you sign in to a fresh store, the admin offers a short guided setup. It takes a couple of minutes and it’s the fastest way to a store that’s actually yours rather than a demo.
You can skip it and configure everything in Settings later — nothing here is one-time-only. Re-running it is safe.
1. Brand & theme
Section titled “1. Brand & theme”Name the store, pick your locale and currency, and upload a logo (or let Nudova generate a monogram from your name).
Then pick an accent colour. This isn’t decoration — the accent drives the whole admin: hovers, focus rings, the backdrop glow and even the chart palette all derive from it. Change it and the product re-skins instantly, with no rebuild.
The live preview on the right shows the result as you click.
2. Modules
Section titled “2. Modules”Turn on the parts of Nudova you actually bought:
- Commerce — the core. Always on.
- CRM — sales pipeline, leads, contacts, activities.
- Marketing — not shipped yet.
This isn’t cosmetic: the modules you enable determine what actually loads. A store that doesn’t use the CRM isn’t carrying it around.
3. Payments & COD rules
Section titled “3. Payments & COD rules”Choose which payment methods you’ll take, and — the important bit — set your COD guardrails:
| Guardrail | What it does |
|---|---|
| Maximum COD value | Hold any COD order worth more than this. |
| Risk threshold | Hold any COD order whose phone-risk score is at or above this. |
| Hold flagged orders | The master switch for both. |
These are enforced from the moment you finish — a COD order that breaks them is held before anyone can book a courier for it. That’s the single most valuable thing on this screen for a BD store, so it’s worth thinking about for a minute rather than clicking past.
See COD & fraud review for how to work the queue, and what a sensible starting threshold looks like.
4. Courier & SMS
Section titled “4. Courier & SMS”Connect the courier you ship with (Pathao, Steadfast or RedX) and your SMS gateway, so order notifications actually reach customers.
You can paste credentials here, or leave it and do it later in Settings → Integrations & providers, where you also get a Test connection button.
5. Launch
Section titled “5. Launch”Finally, choose how to start:
- Demo data — loads a sample catalog so you can click around a store that looks alive. Good for learning the admin.
- Clean — an empty store, ready for your own products.
You can always seed demo data later, but it’s easier to start clean than to unpick a demo catalog once you’ve begun adding real products.
After the wizard
Section titled “After the wizard”Everything you set here lives in Settings and can be changed at any time:
- Brand, accent, locale, currency → Store settings & branding
- Providers and credentials → Payment · Courier · SMS · Phone-risk
- COD guardrails → COD & fraud review
- Your team → Users & roles
